The Matyas Pribojszki Band represents a unique style which cannot be categorized as any of the traditional genres, yet carries all the features of traditional blues, funky, jazz and dinamic groove.

The band was formed in 2003. From start they set up the aim of putting the harmonica into a modern, multi-genre musical environment already, to open new roads not known by many who associate the harmonica solely with traditional genres.

The band have recorded their first album "Flavours" in 2004 containing primarily their own compositions with the original line-up (Matyas Pribojszki-vocals/harmonica, József Adamecz-drums, Erik Kovács-keyboard, Csaba Pengő-double bass/bass guitar). They have performed with great success on numerous domestic and foreign musical events.

Around 2006 the band was joined by Ferenc Szász (guitar) who was been instrumental in the concert DVD "Live in Budapest" recorded in 2007, which has been among the first ones in Hungary in this genre.

From January 2008 drum player József Adamecz has been replaced by Lajos Gyenge. The new album "How many more?" was published in the summer of 2008, and had won a gold record award right on it's debut. The album is a genuine continuation of the original idea and is a true musical delicacy both on the Hungarian and on the international music scene.

In the autumn of 2008 by the end of a rather hectic year, Daniel Molnár the youngest member replaced Lajos Gyenge at the drums.
